2016:

 

On 12 June, O. V. Filippova delivered a speech at the National Real Estate Congress in Ekaterinburg city held at Hyatt Regency, which had been organised by Russian Guild of Realtors and Ural Real Estate Chamber. Subject of the speech was “Notarial Practice with Account of Amendments to Civil Laws”.

 

On 26 May, O. V. Filippova was awarded certificates of honour at the annual meeting of the notaries of Sverdlovsk Region for considerable contribution to development of notarial activities by the following organisations:  Sverdlovsk Region Legislative Assembly, the Administration of Ekaterinburg city, and Sverdlovsk Region Notary Chamber.

 

On 12 May, O. V. Filippova delivered a speech at the informational and educational event which had been organised by the Notary Chamber for heads of local administrations and specially authorised officials of local self-government bodies in Sverdlovsk Region. The subject of the event was “Effecting Notarial Actions, Following the Notarial Records Management Rules and Sending Data to the Sverdlovsk Region Notary Chamber by Heads of Local Administrations and Specially Authorised Officials of the Local Self-Government Bodies to Be Entered into the Unified Notarial Information System, Notarial Actions Register”. 

 

On 13 January, O. V. Filippova succeeded in presenting the graduation thesis on the subject “Unemployment as a Macroeconomic Issue”, having completed her studies to acquire the second higher education in Management.

 

On 20-21 February, O. V. Filippova took part in XII International Scientific and Practical Conference in the Honour of M. I. Kovalyov: “Criminal and Legal Protection of Information Environment in Globalisation Context”.

 

From 01.01.2016 to 01.04.2016, O. V. Filippova published a number of monographs, an article and a study book as a co-author thereof:

2015:

 

O. V. Filippovaparticipated in All-Russian Science and Practice Conference of the Russian Association for Criminologyorganised on an inter-departmental basis in Murmansk on 2-3 July 2015. Subject of the conference was “Criminological and Related Legal Issues of the Regions of the Far North of Russia”.

 

O. V. Filippova together with co-authors T. I. Zaytseva, T. V. Patrusheva, I. V. Perevalova, E. Yu. Yushkova and V. V. Yarkov participated in writing the first volume of the Notary’s Reference Book, 3rd edition, under the editorship of I. G. Medvedev.

 

Notary’s Reference Book is the most complete and up-to-date edition which contains exhaustive information on all notarial issues and separate notarial actions. The first volume is dedicated to general notarial issues, notarial records management and electronic document flow in notarial activities. The book is designated for practising lawyers - notaries, employees of notary offices, judges, advocates and all persons interested in practical aspects of these activities.

 

On 27 October 2015, O. V. Filippova was invited as a speaker to an open lecture for students of different majors of the Ural State Law University to familiarise them with the notary’s occupation.

 

On 18 November 2015, O. V. Filippova took part as a lecturer in Topical Issues of Civil Law and Notarial Practice refresher course for notaries and assistant notaries held by the Ural Branch of the Russian School of Private Law. She delivered a lecture on the subject “Notarial Records Management. Electronic Notarial Activities”.

2014:


O. V. Filippovatook part in the annual free seminar for residents of Ekaterinburg and Sverdlovsk Region “Real Estate Day” held on 16 May 2014. She was awarded a recognition letter of the Ural Real Estate Chamber for participation in this seminar on 20.05.2014.

 

On 21 April 2014, O. V. Filippova took part as a lecturer in Topical Issues of Civil Law and Notarial Practice refresher course for notaries and assistant notaries held by the Ural Branch of the Russian School of Private Law. She delivered a lecture on the subject “Notarial Records Management. Submitting Documents for State Registration of Rights to Real Estate to the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadaster and Cartography”.
 

On 23-24 June 2014, O. V. Filippova participated in the seminar “New Notarial Records Management Rules Approved by Order of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation No. 78 dated 16 April 2014. Notarial Application of the Provisions of the Fundamentals of the Laws of the Russian Federation on Notaries as Amended by Federal Law No. 379-ФЗ dated 21.12.2013 in Terms of Registration of Notices of Movable Property Pledge”. The seminar was held in the Federal Notary Chamber of the Russian Federation.


On 27 July 2014, she delivered a lecture at the annual General Meeting of Notaries of Sverdlovsk Region dedicated to amendments to the Russian laws on notaries. On the basis of the results of this lecture the Guidelines on Applying New Notarial Records Management Rules were developed together with the Chief Department of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation in Sverdlovsk Region for all notaries of Sverdlovsk Region.
 

O. V. Filippova was invited to Narodnaya Volna Radio, 91.9 MHz, to the section “People’s Lawyer”. The subject of the discussion was “How to Register Real Estate Correctly”. The article was published in Kommunalka Newspaper on the basis of the discussion results. This information is available in Kommunalka Newspaper No. 27(50) dated 17 July 2014.
